What Were Comics goes to Atlanta

What Were Comics? team members Bart Beaty and Benjamin Woo will be at the annual conference of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies this week in Atlanta, Georgia. They will both be participating in a workshop organized by Blair Davis of the SCMS Comics Studies interest group,   "Comics and Methodology (or, Which Method Would Win in a Fight—Superman and Semiotics or the Hulk and Historiography?)." The workshop will also feature Henry Jenkins and Scott Bukatman. That's during session N2 on Saturday at 9 AM.
